A Professional Banker for the past 24 years, Ms. Sanyal is
currently the Chairperson and Country Executive for ABN AMRO Bank (now RBS) in
India, responsible for over 9000 staff in 40 locations across 24 cities. Prior
to this she was the Chief Operations Officer for the Asia Pacific region
responsible for the IT, Operations and Property services for 16 countries in the
region. As an Investment banker, she has worked both in India and within the
Asian region in Corporate Finance, Structured Finance and Project Finance and on
a number of Advisory and M&A mandates. In 2001, she set up ACES, ABN AMRO’s
Global Shared Services Co, which currently employs 4500 staff and provides
Banking operations, Research, Global Finance, and HR Shared services to 52
countries. ACES has consistently recorded both high Client Satisfaction and high
Employee Engagement scores and is one of the most highly certified BPO’s in
